Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer and singer. She's attractive and intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. The early successes of her were boosted by her appearance on a few popular shows. There, she portrayed the villainous Ling Woo. In the wake of her fame, she got major part for her in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). In Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. In the meantime her role as an actor in films that failed that were box-office hits like Rise: Blood Hunter were equally prominent. Then she began voicing characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's part in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen movie, did not produce positive results. Southland is a critically acclaimed police drama that Liu starred regularly, was a role which has helped her regain her status as a famous as an actor. Liu picks her roles carefully in order to ensure she is not stereotyped in an industry with a lot of competition. While she embraces her roots however, this has not hindered her in her work as an artist.
