Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24, 1992) is an actress from Canada. She was the character Felicity on The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards was born and raised within British Columbia. To begin her career, Rickards began performing in musical theater and dance hoping to later introducing serious acting. Following her early graduation from high school and attending Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials program. In the open call which followed, an agent was found for her. Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver was where she learned. Initially signed as a single-episode guest on the show, her relationship with show's co-star Stephen Amell coupled with positive response from the fans and her sarcastic quips led to her being first signed as a co-star on recurring basis for the remainder of the initial season. Then she was signed as a regular character in the following season.
